Privacy Policy

Overview

SelfDiscipline is designed with privacy at its core. All data is stored locally. Nothing is uploaded — no analytics or advertising.

Data Storage

All data you enter -- time records, tasks, achievements, settings -- is stored locally at ~/Library/Application Support/SelfDiscipline/, using Apple SwiftData.

Data exists only on your device. Back up or migrate by copying this directory anytime.

Data Collection

SelfDiscipline收集极少量的匿名使用数据, 仅用于优化产品体验.具体包括：

• 匿名使用统计：Feature使用偏好（如计时类型、设置调整、Feature使用频率）, 不包含任何个人身份信息
• 设备基础信息：App 本号、操作系统本, 用于兼容性分析

SelfDiscipline绝不收集以下数据：

• 不收集姓名、邮箱、IP 地址等个人身份信息
• No location data
• 不收集你输入的Tasks内容、计时备注等用户生成内容
• No third-party analytics SDKs 或广告服务
• No cookies or web tracking技术

你可以在「设置 → 共享使用数据」中随时关闭匿名统计Feature.对于欧盟、英国、中国大陆、韩国、巴西等地区的用户, 首次启动时需明确同意后方会开启.

Permissions

Notifications (Optional)
For timer reminders. Disable anytime in System Settings. Notifications are generated locally — never sent to a server.

File Access
Only reads/writes the app data directory. No other files accessed.

Network (Optional)
Used only for:：发送匿名统计数据、检查本更新、DownloadAmbient Sounds资源.匿名统计数据通过 HTTPS 加密传输.

Third-Party Services

SelfDiscipline不使用任何第三方分析、广告或追踪 SDK.

匿名统计数据发送至自有服务器（ai-boom.art）, 由我们直接管理, 不与第三方共享.

Ambient sound assets are bundled. No network required.

How to Delete Data

Delete items in the app, or remove ~/Library/Application Support/SelfDiscipline/ directory to clear all data.
